Students will design and build a prototype cargo rover for carrying ice across the surface of Mars. After seeing examples of other rovers, students will need to identify their constraints, select appropriate materials, and keep the objectives in-mind throughout the process. The emphasis will be on communications and cooperation between small teams as students are introduced to the concept of Systems Engineering.
