Quizlet is described as "a web-based tool that allows users to create study tools such as interactive flashcards, tests, and study games. With Quizlet, students can choose their own 'Study Mode.'" Not only can students construct their own accounts and produce their own 'study sets' to learn and review, teacher generated 'study sets' that are not only shareable but have a unique feature of going 'live.' When a class goes 'live' the students are put into groups by Quizlet, work collaboratively and communicate to 'win' study rounds. In this session educators will learn how to set up their own Quizlet account, create 'study sets', explore the games offered, access shared 'study sets' from the Quizlet Community and will go 'Live' with their colleagues. This presentation is geared for those new to Quizlet and not meant for those actively using Quizlet in their classroom. Bring your laptop to get started and your phone to play with us 'live'!
